One of my Parker hammer guns has started to double on me. The left hammer has become extremely light. Hough Lomas looked at it while at the U.P. Shoot this weekend and said the sear needs to be recut. He couldn't do the repair there. Anyways I'm looking for advice on who to have do this repair. This is a nice gun, I want it done right. I'm not saying Mr. Lomas couldn't do it. Just want some input before I ship gun to someone. Thanks, Dave Miles

Hugh would be a fine choice, so would nearly any good double gun Smith. Its a very easy fix for a guy who knows his way about a double gun. Give Hugh a go, you will be pleased.

My favorite double gun man is Nick Tooth, formerly of Purdy’s. He’s as good as they get and his prices are outstanding.
