Only conversation CZ. I would've like to have seen one of them take a shot on the water at a cripple to get a feel for how tight it patterns. I know it doesn't mean much, but it looked like one fellow knocked down a one shot triple. It made me think the patterns were a bit more open than would be thought, and sure, pure luck.

It also looked like a few tipped birds had enough to get away, but had the look like they would probably die off some where else. I wish they keyed in more on the gun, and maybe had a duck hunter look over the video before it was released. It's neat though when classic can still get out in the blind.

I'm thrilled with how the Bo Whoop saga ended up; still don't think much of how it unfolded...Geo

Me too, Geo.
And I'm sure all the parties that worked to get it into the DU museum do as well.

Out there doing it best I can.

I'm sure Ducks Unlimited will get lots of mileage out of Nash Buckingham's old gun. That's probably a good end for an old Fox. Somehow I'd rather the gun had been shot to pieces by the old man who loved it and lost it, and passed along to his family to waste away in a relative's closet...Geo

I'm glad they are using for what it was made for. If some big donors get to use it every year or so great. A tribute to a man and shotgun of another age and time. Not just leaving it on display like the NRA dose with their guns. Maybe The NRA could use this idea with their super donors. Pick a historic gun in useable shape and use it for what it was intended for. They could even put a raffle together for the life members. I didn't mean to hijack thread
