The "new" mojo extension pole system costs just $35 and will get the decoy 12 feet up and is easy and convenient to carry and set up. It works ok and gets the decoying birds up off ground level.

I use it in the water as well for wood duck and ringneck hunting. Somehow the spinning wing against the cover of trees seems to work better than at water level...Geo

Years ago I purchased a video by Bruce Scott about being a better dove shot. In the video they were using an aluminum pole set up and talked about how to place it in the field. Well I purchased one and Stan is right. Doves have flown over the field and done a 180 to come and check it out.
A couple of years ago one December afternoon me and a friend was in a "HOT" dove field. Doves were all over the place. I had just set the pole up and my friend was saying because it was bare shiny aluminum no doves would come to it. At that time I asked him to turn around and two doves were trying to land on the pole with my decoys.

I am using one of Gil's poles he gave me. Works great!

Mike, Bruce is a good guy. I once took he and Marty Fisher crow shooting so they could record video for one of their DVDs. He and Marty were pretty amazed at how far we killed crows with #4s and a XXXFull Comp-N-Choke choke tube.

Stan, I remember that video in a Georgia pecan orchard. I do remember Bruce praising the Comp N Choke. So much I ordered some for my Benelli.
I sure do miss those shows.
