James, last time I checked, Canada is still in North America and Chille, South America. Happy Thanksgiving from one North American "American" to my North American Canadian friends and South American Chilean friends. Gil

I grill turkey breasts, coated in olive oil and Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, which is sort of a dry rub. I'm cooking two this morning to feed 10 for dinner (that's at noontime, here). Here's how they look when done. Happy Thanksgiving y'all, SRH
May God bless America and those who defend her.

I guess we need to add a star and crescent symbol for the Muslims on the forum.

Ah, Joe. It's gratitude time. The only Muslim family I'm aware of in your country already has a Gold Star.
Muslim infantry saved many American lives in Italy, and has always been welcomed warriors in Commonwealth ranks.
They not only fought side-by-side as distinct units within US divisions in Sicily and Italy, they pulled Mark Clark's fat out of the fire in one of finest attacks of the war.
And don't forget the Muslim nation Turkey's performance in the Korean War. From Wikipedia:
"United Nations Forces Commander in Chief, General Douglas MacArthur, described Turkish Brigade's contribution to the war: "The military situation in Korea is being followed with concern by the whole American public. But in these concerned days, the heroism shown by the Turks has given hope to the American nation. It has inculcated them with courage. The American public fully appreciates the value of the services rendered by the Turkish Brigade and knows that because of them the Eighth American Army could withdraw without disarray. The American public understands that the United Nations Forces in Korea were saved from encirclement and from falling in to the hands of the communists by the heroism shown by the Turks."

On the other hand, there was a Muslim SS unit in WW2. In WW1, the Turks killed almost an entire nation by starving and marching them to death.
Muslims flew planes into the Twin Towers on 9/11, blew up pressure cooking bombs killing several people in Boston. And other atrocities, here and abroad. Throwing gays off buildings, beheadings, etc. So before we start praising them as "the religion of peace" let's put it in perspective.
