What a profoundly ignorant statement, and as intellectually dishonest as anything you will ever see. Exactly what we should expect from the Liberal left anti-2nd Amendment Socialist King Brown.

Isn't is simply amazing that King Brown can claim to be such a staunch opponent of the death penalty, yet sing praises for a brutal dictator who murdered literally thousands of political opponents and dissidents in firing squad executions.

The Cuban Memorial displayed at Tamiami Park, Miami, Florida: Each cross bears the name of a victim of Castro the brothers genocide against the Cuban people

Of course, King would be thrilled with gun rights in Cuba where the civilian populace is only permitted to use pellet rifles in a country that once had a strong hunting and shooting culture. And even if Cubans were allowed to own and shoot firearms, the vast majority of them couldn't afford to do so after decades of Castro's rule.

A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

C'mon, this has to be under obama's watch. Talk high standards, set low bar. obama still has time to send some education outreach coalition down there, maybe michelle-n-entourage, for an investment in the US' future. Trump'll send tower architects and contractors, eh?

I can see it now, Canada and Cuba in simpatico due to a changing world. The obvious, superior enlightenment of the Canadian voters electing Trudeau, contrasting with America electing a hateful racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobe. Now, since I'm pretty sure the "bench" is pretty deep within the Cuban Communist Party, their next (or current) "Great Leader" will lead his country into a bright future, complete with more government provided rice cookers.

Since America now has such enlightened governance to both the North and South, perhaps both Canada and Cuba will become a magnet for those elightned Americans who feel disenfranchised by the last election. Perhaps a wave of emigration will start, as these superior, caring individuals seek fertile ground to participate in a true utopian society.

Cuba: Another example of a Communist Paradise! Despite the B.S. spouted by others Cuba remains a poor underdeveloped country after 50 years of failed socialism.

Long term dictators tend to build a cult around themselves as they steal their nations blind and make their fellow Socialist or Communist as poor as possible. Look at Cuba and North Korea as prime examples. Over the years basics such as food has been in short supply.

The reason for the boat lift was extreme economic problems with food shortages. The Cubans first started going to the Chilean embassy seeking asylum. It got so bad the Cubans posted troops outside the embassy with orders to prevent this. You can guess how. Then as the unrest grew Castro was forced to allow some to leave as the economy got worse. Finally he said anyone who wanted to leave could do so provided could be picked up at the port of Mariel. True to his nature he refused to let political prisoners go. Instead he threw more in jail. Again the left will forget the facts and feel the feel good story in their hearts while sitting around the fire singing songs and eating edible marijuana products. I am starting to understand why so many thing Liberalism and Socialism is a mental disease.

Remember Socialism only works as long as you have other peoples money to steal and spend.

I know for a fact the George Washington threw a silver dollar all the way across the Potomac River and gave it up when he chopped down the cherry tree as a child. I wonder though about the 600 unsuccessful assassination attempts on the Cuban Dictator's life. True or part of his false history legacy?...Geo

Have a heart. It isn't good news for everyone you know; there's some poor lonely old bugger in Langley working out of his dingy and forgotten office who's wondering if he'll still have a job on Monday morning.

"For sale, vintage cigar drilling machine. No sign of wear, and retaining all original colour."

How about "For sale, one Vintage wetsuit, never worn, recently decontaminated and certified anthrax free".

All those assassination attempts must include all the inadvertant ones performed by his cook.
