Oh.
I read the whole story. Instead I think I'll just go outside and find an ant-lion hole, get on my hands and knees and chant "doodlebug doodlebug, you better come home, your house is on fire and your children all gone." While gently stirring the hole with a broom straw.
I spent idle hours doing just that as a child. Then I discovered you could find an ant and drop it in the hole and watch the fireworks start...Geo I still do, Geo. I don't know why, but I do enjoy watching that doodlebug come to the top while I stir the cone. Now, if I could just find someone to shoot marbles with me ............ SRH

This was fun. It reminds me of the "Haiku" thread a while back in Misfires.
I prefer wood to plastic, leather to nylon, waxed cotton to Gore-Tex, and split bamboo to graphite.
