Model 627 EELL 12 or 20 ga, 12 ga 3" chambers only, 26 or 28" barrels, various chokes, boxlock, ejectors, single trigger, elaborate engraving, pistol or straight checkered stock. Case. Imported 1985-93 Last MSR was $5,405. Multi-chokes became available in 1991.
Doesn't mention sideplates or double triggers. Triggers could have been changed out (smart move).

There were two excellant articles in the Double Gun Journal several years ago on Beretta side by sides (and over/unders), which I read in detail before buying my 626E. If you haven't gotten all the information you would like on the 627 yet, let me know and I'll search out the dates of the two articles, and/or forward you any pertinent 627 details.

Last year I looked over 12br fc field gun with few scratches on it. A nice s-plated A&D gun with double Purdey underbites and superior handling to majority of old domestic stuff. I went home with 50s vintage 201e for about same amount of $ since it was much better handling gun.

In case the PM doesn't get thru, the issues of the DGJ are Autum 1998 and Summer 2001. There is one sentece on the 627. It states it has sideplates and extensive engraving. They are good reference for the Beretta line of shotguns, just not the 627s'. Best, Ron
