Looking for a high quality smith who can lightly hone the tarnished bores on a classic american double gun to a consistent diameter, recut some dim lettering and engraving, and reblue to include polishing off some really light random corrosion on the exterior of the barrels. Lastly, I'm looking to have the barrels back by this fall for hunting. This gun is a high grade SxS and I want really high quality work. Any recommendations from my fellow BBS'rs? Thank you. Joe

Kirk Merrington in Kerrsville,Tx is a Purdy trained barrel man. He recently polished out my 32" fox XE barrel in 20 bore and they had very bad pitting. I have been very happy with all his work.
He has ads in DGJ and shooting sportsman.
