....policies that marginalize ordinary people in favor of those who own a disproportional amount of the country's wealth. As evidence, I offer the current tax "reform" scam. ....more useful might be the performance of the school systems in Democratic dominated cities across the US. I suspect that would tell and interesting story, one Democrats would rather not talk about much. I dunno cback. Something tells me failing schools are right in the wheelhouse of a redistribute the wealth/throw more money at it philosophy. But hey, I'm glad the race baiting, anti kid 'published' his thoughts, probably never cross paths with him but he's scratched off my Christmas card list.

Craig, we are in agreement. I'm just saying that the Dems wouldn't want the CORRELATION of shitty school and democratic governance to be that carefully examined.
The world cries out for such: he is needed & needed badly- the man who can carry a message to Garcia

I really miss Misfires. There's just too many interesting things going on that everybody could joust over. I'd really like to do some responding.
Come on Dave, bring it back!
If anything, it keeps our Old Guy minds nimble, and out heart rates up.

Conservatives have long opposed education at every level because it tends to shred their arguments in favor of policies that marginalize ordinary people in favor of those who own a disproportional amount of the country's wealth. Just what in the h... does "those who own a disproportional amount of the country's wealth" mean? I think I know where you're coming from with this, but I just find it hard to believe you're that full of it. Or, maybe I just don't want to. SRH

Leftism Is Not Liberalism. Here Are the Differences....
Welcome back ed, did some homework, eh. One of the characteristics of a disease is that it can be progressive. Mental disorders are not all the same, some start off little. Therefore, liberalism has metastsized, through tacit approval of blue dogs in name only, into a horrible mental disorder of fantasy victimhood. Yup, that and a bunch of other things.

Stan, what I mean is that the advantages held by the super-rich today can only be maintained by convincing a vast majority of ordinary people to vote against their own and the country's interests. It helps that aim if the populace goes to crummy schools and is massively distracted with bread and circuses. It takes a lot of really naive and foolish people to vote themselves into our present sorry state. A little story: A New Englander gets drunk in a west Texas bar then stands up and announces, " Donald Trump is a horse's ass." A tall Texan promptly decks him. The man struggles to his feet and says, " I owe you folks an apology. I didn't stop to think there'd be Trump fans here." The big Texan says, " We're not Trump fans. We're horse fans."

I would just point out that Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh et al are hardly models of sanity and mental health. Here's a statement from a socialist Democrat liberal that is a perfect example of standing on one's head to prove he has no clue and is totally brainwashed from listening to and reading the mainstream media. So typical, so predictable. JR
