Has anyone checked into the few facts in this case? Can�t check on the house because she can�t temembe where it was or even what color it was. Was the Safeway store built 36 years ago? Seems like a simple thing but is it? Ford mentioned calling a friend on her cell phone after this happened. Most likely she misspoke because cell phones did not exist in all but the rarest places. No cell tower network.

Canvasback. Great story. I love that area. My grandfather canoed that area for 7 weeks back in 1921 and then wrote a series of articles for the Northwest Ontario Sportsmans magazine some years later. They canoed from Hudson Bay post to Hudson Bay post and when their time ran out they sold their canoes and hopped the train back to Milwaukee. Great photos and story. It seems my grandfather, whom I never met because he died before I was born was an adventurous man. He took a number of trips like that. My grandmother described him to my wife many years ago as �an Irishman that was a good lover but poor provider�. That still makes me laugh.

If you are worried about what you want, a conservative will fight for your liberties. If you vote dem, I don't think it washes that you are a victim of a bunch of meanies. You proactively or tacitly approve of all the baggage that's part of the deal.

Ask Bill. I bet he know truck loads of folks that dems look down their noses at because they have a paycheck that puts them below some line, but it doesn't bother them one bit. Just as there're others who have phd's in scamming the system, and approach zero redeeming qualities. Are they really equals?

If you want redistribution, why don't you just make yourself happy and give all your stuff away? You would get the last laugh when you hear dems day after day on your portable radio, because the tv's gone, bellyaching about fairness.

Tom, I very recently stated here that I did not cast a vote for my Republican Senator Pat Toomey in his last election because he sided with the Obama/Biden attack on the 2nd Amendment in 2013. I left that portion of my ballot blank, because his Democrat opponent was even worse. I called and wrote his office to make it clear that he had lost my support over that issue. I also noted that the late RINO Sen. John McCain sided with Obama in 2013. Yes, there are a very few Republicans who support gun control. I will not support them.

I have also voted for a few Democrats who supported the Constitutional Rights of law abiding gun owners, and certainly would in the future. When I was a college student, I actually registered Democrat when eligible to vote, because my Mom was a local Democrat Committeewoman and I was offered a political patronage job by our County Democrat Chairperson if I registered Democrat.

I got the good paying State job, only because I registered Democrat, and was shocked to come in at a time when many of my bosses were under indictment for Bribery, Macing, Extortion, Theft of Public Property, etc. I also learned that was only the tip of the corruption iceberg. What I saw disgusted me to the point that I went to the courthouse and changed my voter registration to No Party Affiliation, which I am to this day. Some years later, my very Democrat parents came to the same conclusions, and realized the Democrats were no longer the Party of the working man, and they too stopped voting for politicians who supported gun control, a massive Welfare State, higher taxes, and Socialism.

I'm sure you are aware the vast majority of Democrats have taken up a very anti-2nd Amendment position. Since you frequent this site, I'm sure you were also aware that Barack Obama had a 100% anti-gun voting record when you voted for him. We also pointed out Hillary Clinton's anti-gun track record, and provided links to her website with her promises to take on the NRA and to advance strict gun laws. I'm guessing you voted for her anyway, knowing she was a threat to our gun rights.

Because of that, I don't want to kid myself and think you are on our side just because you may own guns. I don't want to be in any Big Tent with you, and I want other gun owners to realize that gun owners like you are no help to preserving our gun rights. You are like termites in a wood framed house.

And I'll also bet you don't have a problem with the Democrat Supreme Court nominees who lied and said they supported and respected the 2nd Amendment during their confirmation hearings, but then went on to vote to infringe upon it. I'll bet you and Billy aren't a bit concerned about that kind of perjury.

If you consider yourself pro-gun when you vote for known anti-gunners, you are being dishonest with yourself, and you are undermining the 2nd Amendment Rights of every gun owner. I don't see or hear that any of you FUDD's who vote for anti-gun Democrats ever even try to pressure them to change their position by threatening to withdraw your support. You are no different than an Abortion Doctor who would consider himself pro-life.

I am also not surprised to hear that you would still consider Kavanaugh guilty even if the FBI Investigation found nothing, and even though there are gaping holes and glaring inconsistencies in Ford's accusations and testimony. And I'm not going to suggest that we should get together for some hunting or a few beers either.

Yeah John, I know. And I really got a kick about his reasons for claiming to convert from Republican to Democrat... especially the part about Bush taking us to war in Iraq for the wrong reasons. As I recall, it was mostly due to Saddam's repeated and blatant violations of the U.N. Sanctions put in place after the 1991 conflict. Saddam himself had used WMD, bragged about and threatened to use more, and thrown out U.N. Inspectors. And the decision to go to war was supported by an overwhelming number of Democrat Senators including Hillary Clinton.

I'll bet he voted for anti-gun Hillary anyway.



Tom C., along with Billy, says he is appalled by the number of U.S. soldiers killed in that war. But he and Billy don't seem at all concerned about the number of U.S. Soldiers killed in numerous wars approved by Democrat Presidents:

They can somehow justify ignoring those trivial things, just as they can ignore the extremely racist and anti-woman's rights past of the Democrat Party.... and the overwhelming differences between Republicans and Democrats when it comes to infringing upon the 2nd Amendment and Gun Rights of Law Abiding U.S. Citizens.
