Does anybody know for sure if laurona are still in business ? I thought they'd gone after a buy out or amalgamation with another firm but a guy told me today that they were still in business and spares were available. I checked on the Web but there's no contact details , a website I clicked onto was blank and a notice said the domain was for sale so I'd guess they are no more, like quite a few that have ceased trading or gone broke in recent year. Any ideas Gents ?

Last I heard they had been taken over by Norcia [?} a company most known for air weapons .I tried to contact them direct 3/4 years back but got no reply . I dont recall them in the last IWA show guide I saw either as I was chasing parts .

I owned one maybe 12 years ago. I had heard at that time they were in Australia. I have no idea if that was true.
So many guns, so little time!

Thanks Gunman, it seems like they've disappeared . Do you still need parts ? I know of a sxs which may be scrapped soon or if it's ejector parts for the same, there's a fore end for sale on fleabay amongst a job lot at the mo.

Builder, thanks, they were Spanish but somebody could've bought the name and rights maybe. Skeettx, thanks for the link, I'm not stuck for parts but it may help Gunman out if he's still after spares if they'll export to the UK.

I think Laurona shotguns are seriously under valued if you get the right ones. I have a two barrel set (12 and 20 on the same frame) over and under with double single triggers that I would put up against anything out there for a field gun. I have a few others, one of which I had the action reblued and the smith that had it apart was very impressed with the double single trigger set up. He thought it would be a nightmare to pull out and replace but he said it was almost modular. I do have a few side by sides and they are middle of the road guns, but a good value. CHAZ

Retired and loving it so no need of parts or hassle but thanks for the thought ,
