LRF, My " Fraser" rifle is one I built after I'd been outbid on a real one. I think they're one of the most elegant bolt rifles of all time, and if I can't own one, I decided to make my own version. It lacks engraving, that unique bolt handle, and some other nice details. I hope though that it does capture some of the Fraser touch.

I just measured neck diameter on a loaded round using the Nosler brass. It mikes .314"- same as vintage WW ammo. Those of you loading new Norma brass beware. Check the necks before you shoot. PS: In my rifle the N orma load chambers without resistance, but the tolerances are too close for normal pressures.

Bill, when I made my post I should have been more clear and directed it to SKB, as I think he was talking about the bolt gun Fraser he acquired a short time ago. Sorry.
I did know you had built a Fraser but I don't remember if you had previously posted pics. I would like to see them if possible.
I also built a Fraser and you are absolutely correct and I agree, they are the most elegant of the European SS rifles. IMHO I have previously posted pics here but its been a long time ago. Mine is in 405 Win and is all engraved in english scrolls by Roger Sampson.

I have had two Fraser m98 take down rifles in recently. The one currently in is one a slant box Oberndorf standard length action in .303 British. I am doing a very mild clean up on it. It is almost done. I will post pics when it is complete.

Keith, Your science background and your status as a climate change denier mark you as ineducable. What possible concern of yours is it what house Obama buys?
