I need a set of sears to replace/adapt to a French BLNE Guild gun. The gun is a 16 Gauge and they are approximately 65mm in length. I can supply a photo of them by email, but I don't know how to post it on this site.

This is a tough request! To work the info needs to be in .001 of an inch and the pin hole size is important! I doubt if one turns up.

You gotta try. They make vertical mills and welders.

The sears are not holding the hammer. The gun has fired when the action snapped shut. The sears have been repaired in the past with welded material.

I have a gunsmith who is familiar with the gun who will either repair the sears or replace them if we can find a set close to the same size.

The gun is a boxlock A&D action.
