Ithaca NID Grade 2 Magnum 12 serial #500961 (1941). In 1932 Ithaca, along with the NID 10 gauge magnum also produced a NID in a 12 gauge Magnum. Only 87 guns were made in 12 gauge, chambered for 3 inch shells and only 24 were made in Grade 2. This gun has 32” steel barrels with brass front and mid beads. Chokes marked on the barrel flats are 4 and 4 (full and full); choked full and improved cylinder by my drop in gauge. LOP is 14” to a Hawkins pad. DAC: 1 1/2’; DAH: 2 3/4”. Double triggers, extractors, and pistol grip with NID grip cap.Bores are bright and shinny. Very nice walnut forend and butt stock with nice figure to the wood. Frame has typical Grade 2 engraving with a mallard in flight on the left side, a woodcock on the right side with scrollwork. Gun was completely restored by Gunter Pfrommer; wood and metal are in 100% restored condition with beautiful case colors. A very scarce NID...only 24 made in Grade 2. $6000.
