I have an A. Loesche hammer gun from 1901. This SxS has two sets of barrels, all serial numbered the same. One set is a Loesche mark, in 12g x 9.3x82. The other set is J.P.Sauer in 12g. Purchased years back from the old Cape Outfitters and sold as a cape gun in 12g x 9.3x72. After chamber casting to determine the proper rifle chamber (also stamped on the barrel flats if you know where to look) I had 9.3x82mm brass created and the rifle shoots quite well. I have taken a number of game with it (deer and hogs). The 12g is choke very tight at +0.689 at the muzzle.
I would like to learn more about the A. Loesche firm. On my last visit to Berlin (2002) I traveled to Magdaburg but was not able learn more. If you have information you are willing share let me know. Thanks.

Adolf Loesche Waffen Loesche was for the most part a firearms merchant. Sourced his wares from Suhl & Liège? We have a few threads about: https://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubb...true#Post493293I'll search for additional info. Cheers, Raimey rse

Adolf Loesche, Hoflieferant - Magdeburg had additional outlets/satellite locations and with different advertising: Hof-Büchsenmacher, etc. >>"An Adolf Loesche opened his shop at Koelner Strasse 13, Magdeburg, in 1873. Son Gustav Loesche took over in 1905. In 1916 Waffen-Loesche, Magdeburg is listed at Wilhelmstrasse 13 (street renamed?). In 1916 he bought the remains of the bankrupt Stendebach & Co., Suhl. He closed this Suhl branch in 1926. His branch in Berlin is documented post-WW1 only, 1925-1941. The Adolf Loesche, Grosse Packhofstrasse 21, Hannover branch was opened in 1919, together with A. Helmuthauser."<< https://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=267712&page=allhttps://www.doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=355958&page=2Cheers, Raimey rse
