Hi all,

What is the best contact cement for gluing leather? I made an oak and leather case and am ready to glue the leather to the top and bottom. I used 3 m 77 spray adhesvie for the baise on the interior but I am not sure if it is best or most durable for the leather exterior. I do have some hide glue, Titebond, but never used it for leather.

I use barge cement on leather covered pads and it works well for that.

Barge, hands down favorite. It's a contact cement, flexible, and holds leather like it was welded together.
