A rolling block shotgun.

Once you see it, it makes sense.

Are there any others like it?

The gun is an interest curiosity. It would be nice if the outward appearance gave some idea of the bolting system, seems to be a low pressure situation?

It's vertically bolted.

The ends of which can be seen in the rib extension.

There is likely a substantial locking piece that's out of sight.

That's all I was thinking, the out of sight part.

The vertical bolting and rib extension may be somewhat apparent, but I wouldn't know if they function in a similar way to conventional designs. That rolling block is huge, and on outward appearances, there does not seem to be the packaging space to provide substantial resistance. There may be a requirement for a large void under that block, and that rising bite may be responsible for quite a bit more than on a fixed standing breech?
