Guys, I have a nice Defourny Full sidelock 12 gauge ejector gun, built on Defourney’s patented self opening action, which at first glance looks like the Beesley action on a Purdey, but IMHO, is much easier and smoother to close. Gun has same action as their best model, but not full coverage engraving. It was mfg. 1935, S/M 8119 with 28 1/4” ‘Compressed Steel’ barrels, ejectors, hidden third fastener, 2 3/4” Belgian proof, clean bores, R bbl. 0.724 w/ .016 choke, L bbl. .724 w/ .036 choke, good original barrel blue, full gold-plated internals, reinforced frame, double beads, straight grip/ splinter of straight grain walnut to horn butt that has toe repair( well done), forend wood solid. Weight is 6 lbs. 8 ozs. Modern stock dimensions are 1 3/8” Comb, 2 3/8” heel, 3/8” cast off, and 14 7/8” LOP. Gun has original blued frame and is tight with no play and lever to right of tang screw. Basically, this was Defourney’s 2nd Quality gun, i.e. their best gun sans full coverage engraving and figured wood. Email me for pics at or call me @ 803-507-7403 Asking $ 2950.00 Thanks, Sandlapper
