Just now reading of Stan's travails. What a horror to happen to a really good man. Prayers up for his continued recovery, his docs & medical staff and the Good Lord's assistance that he makes a full one.
We've traded PM's now & again since he first joined the board. Stand up gentleman w/a true and genuine interest in things double gun related.
Stan should be in a dove field(!), not a hospital bed. And I'm sorry to learn that he isn't.

Glad to hear hes improving. Continued prayers for this fine gentleman. Ive had the pleasure of talking with Stan numerous times and sold him the Dickinson .410 he writes about. We talked of shooting together, and I still hope this will happen in the near future.

I would run through forest fire wearing kerosene shorts to get a chance to hunt (or shoot at) doves and ducks with Stan someday. All of us on this Forum can tell from his posts and replies that he is not only a collector and shooter of quality double guns, but a gentleman of the South- none better. RWTF

My fervent prayers for Stan's quick recovery and for the well being of his family. I hope this was not related to his weekend sandbar activities...Geo George did anyone figure out what happened ? jOe, he fell off a houseboat in Clark Hill reservoir and nearly drowned. I don't know any details beyond that and I doubt it is any of my business. I just hope for his recovery...Geo Just wondering what happened....how do you fall off a house boat ?
