I'm looking for a couple of pristine Browning Hartman or Airways cases.
I need a single barrel case as well as a two barrel case.
Tolex? Sure!
Thanks,
Bob

Bob, some readers might not realize that you are looking for Superposed cases. Good luck.

What eightbore said.
Browning, Airways or Hartman cases to house Browning Superposed O/U shotguns.

Bob, what condition is necessary? I have one I don't need, but it's bit worn. Do you have a source to have them freshened up?

Stan

Thanks, Bob. Kinda thought you were, even though I admittedly overlooked your wording "pristine". My bad.

Good luck.

I have a couple of the luggage type cases with the brass corners, brown, but they are obviously not Hartmann or Airways cases. They are both in pretty good shape.

Art has been buying them up for years. I would bet he has one of what you want unless you are looking to pick one up as an investment.

Good morning Stan.
I’ve never been much of a case guy but I do like how these guns look
against a backdrop of fake shearling and Naugahyde.

Thank you Bill, good suggestion.

The interior of mine has a pinkish look. Not too attractive, IMO. But, having not ever been a big Browning fan I readily admit to an "under-appreciation" of the Hartmann cases.

I guess I should post a few pics of mine to see if anybody could put it to good use. It's for certain I can't.

Best, Bob. Stan

I have an old Winchester factory hard case with a fuzzy pink lining. It's hideous.

Which is which and what gun would be appropriate for each. Just trying to figure out what I have.

Sorry to have ghosted you (as the kids say).

Tolex is the earliest of the 3 and lined with the tell tale fake blue velvet.
Hartman has a bakalite cream colored insert in the plastic handle.
Airways has the Naugahyde handle.
As far as I'm concerned, any of these period cases is "appropriate".

Still looking for that mint Tolex.
