A friend of mine just picked up his new 12 bore Pro Star sporter yesterday. From the pictures he sent it looks pretty dang good! His is the engraved model. For $5800 he got nice wood and nice looking engraving.Can't wait to get to try it out for myself. I have three P guns myself so it will be interesting to see how these compare.

I've bought two 31 1/2" barrelled MX 8s, and paid less than $5800 for both of them, added together. I can't see the attraction to the Pro Star. I guess if you've got to have new ........

I shot a demo at the US Open. Nice handling gun. Good trigger, killer wood, non engraved version. Metal finish was good, oil finished wood could have been better. $3400.
