Many years ago I acquired a Parker Reproduction 20 ga two barrel set. 28” M/F 26” M/IC. Pistol grip, BTFE, SST. Unfired. Cased and rotective sleeve. Most beautiful wood. I’ve been out the loop for a long time and have gotten old. Thought I could depend upon you to give me an approximate value. Thank you in advance.

$20,000 is probably what you'd like to hear, but in reality it's likely value in unfired condition is about $6 -7K to the folks looking for one in that configuration.

For reference (it's been on the site for a while and was recently price reduced). Can't say this is what it's worth since it hasn't sold yet. Probably at this price because the owner put a foolish amount of money into custom engraving.

Check the comps on auction sites. The buyers tell you what it's worth.

David Trevallion did a lot of work on Parkers and wrote articles on Parker reproductions. Give him a call. He'll talk to you for 30 minutes and might even know the gun.

"Don't love what can't love you back." and "A trash bag is the best way to inner calm." Every year we go through house and attic to weed out stuff. Extraneous items go - old speakers, car parts, manuals, maps, unused cooking machines, books, old bicycles, old car parts, etc. I had to toss my father's tools when he died...couldn't get them to my house..and I really wanted that drill press, etc. I just went through my tool box and had to trash 20 craftsman tools I'd bought in 1962..just useless today along with all my old whitworth Triumph motorcycle special tools, wrenches and sockets.

Not saying to disrespect the gun. But weeding of a house as you get older is important. Just do it because after you are gone, the younger generation will likely have to toss it. My brother for instance is a Randall knife expert. He's now winnowing down his collection concentrating only on the Vietnam era knives we used. The kids won't want to deal with this later on.

If you are not using it, and it is not a family heirloom, let someone else enjoy it. the kids houses are already full. As for price, you could always put it on Gunsinternational, post a price and see what happens.

Parker Repro made more 20s than any other gauge. This one in particular is "different" because it's a 2 barrel set and because of the BTFE. But you have to find the right buyer who's interested in a gun in that particular configuration.
