Thank you. .410s are just so much fun in the field. Choke selection is more critical, as is range estimation, as is using restraint when choosing whether or not to shoot. But, when you fold a dove cleanly at 35 yards you know everything has to have been right with that shot. Much more satisfaction, for me, than doing the same with a larger bore gun. I have looked at Guntrader UK where a new one is on offer at £8,222 (more than a pair of second hand No. 2 .410 AyA sidelocks), and a similar second hand one at £3,495. There is one at the next Holts estimated at £700 to £900 (i.e. up to £1,200 with the buyer’s premium). Last edited by Parabola; 09/28/23 04:00 AM.
