I picked up one of these from a central Montana farmer years ago, in farm condition at farm prices. Might be my favorite gun!

What exactly is your definition of "farm condition"? Not to put words in your mouth but, it sounds derogatory. Hope I'm wrong. Yikes, Stanton….a bit of a thin skinned response since you are proud of being a farmer, eh?! Grouse Guy’s statement doesn’t seem the least bit derogatory or condescending towards farmers from my viewpoint. I think his point was the gun was well used….

To clarify for Stan, I actually borrowed the phrase from the farmer himself. When we met at a remote road junction for the transaction he walked the gun over to my truck with a slight grin on his face saying "She's in farm condition at farm prices!" I liked the man and the gun straight away. It seems some are always looking for offense....
