For sale is a 16 bore W&S 400 Proprietary Grade 1 screw grip. Best quality all around. The engraving is the best found on any W&S. Only the best engravers at the factory were allowed to carve on these. The scroll is tiny and perfectly cut with deep relief carved fences.

No. 116323 with lots of original case coloring, disc set strikers, Scott screw grip third bite, and great mechanical condition. Weighing just 5lb 12oz, 27” barrels original nitro steel barrels have had their chambers lengthened to 2-3/4” and reproofed. They are topped by a raised solid concave gamestyle rib. The top of the barrels are inscribed “Webley & Scott Ltd” and “Birmingham”. The right barrel is bored 0.669 with a constriction of 0.005 for Skeet choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.025. The left barrel is bored 0.667 and has a constriction of 0.011 for Improved Cylinder choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.025.
Stock dimensions are 14-3/4” including a 1/2” leather pad by 1-3/8” by 2”. Cast off for the righthand shot.

I forgot to add this picture. It's the original fitted compact leather case and it also comes with a green case cover from Jeff's Outfitters.

Very nice. Why are 16 gauge shells over $20 a box?

Wow, gorgeous shotgun! If you think $20 a box is bad, you should try buying 2 1/2 inch shotgun shells in Canada.
