It looks similar to a 28 Ga Beretta 686 Special I bought a couple of months ago. I had owned a 28 ga Baby Frame 686 Special several years ago and sold it. I had always regretted that. The recent purchase was like it except it was not a Baby Frame and it had double triggers. I suspect it was one imported by Quality Arms, but am not certain. The one you have is very similar but I suspect older. I have never seen a Sauer version and had not seen an articulated trigger. I will have to say the engraving is extensive but not as well executed as some of the Beretta engraving of the period. I suspect there have to be several around somewhere, since I can't imagine Beretta making a one off for a relatively base grade model. If Sauer commissioned a run of these there should be more somewhere, but I have never seen one. Maybe some European users could comment.
