I have an original 1876 Whitmore Hammer Cape Gun, 10 ga. and 40-50 sharps straight. It's all original and aside from oil finish I rubbed into the stock and forend, in original condition. Both barrels are in very good shape and is very hard to find. I am selling it because I have too many guns and need to thin the herd. I want and need this gun to go to someone that will honor it for what it is. As you may or may not know these guns were all steel barrels, not damascus, twist or laminates. There was only one grade and that was a field grade. I want $5K for it, no trades and no discounts. It's an antique, so can be shipped to anyone.
