Hello chaps,
Our local auction house here in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England has an interesting item for sale amongst the usual lower price point items:
LOT 160: John Dickson 12 bore side by side round action ejector, improved cyl & 3/8 chokes,
29" damascus barrels, SN 4914 (bore size .734 both, barrel thickness 23 & 23) fully
engraved action, highly figured 14 1/2" stock including pad, complete in leather case
with brass corners, circa 1890. £4200-4500
I have used this auction house (Netherhampton) from time to time and they are competent and reliable. No idea if they are used to exporting guns to the USA however.
I am not bidding, but let me know what you think...
