And as reported over the weekend, Schumer will be bringing the Bump Stock issue before the Senate. Because you know, there is an election coming up and he wants Republicans on record where they stand on them so they can use that in campaign ads, and the left despises the current Supreme Court.

And to be clear, I am no fan of new laws or regulations. I simply pointed out that this recent trend of Agencies and Departments making and changing existing laws typically fail with SCOTUS. As they should. Unelected political appointees and federal employees do not make our laws.

If you polled 100 professors, 97% would be Democrap/Commie. The other 3% independent but vote Left

They are known for following, parroting the party line and protecting the pension.

I agree. Why do you think the only solution ,according to commiecrats, is gun control. They have a one track mind. Why does anyone logically believe taking the rights and guns away from law abiding citizens would change a thing? Some of the Commiecrats want total control over the citizens, they rest are the feel good types who walk around with their hands over their hearts when they’re not patting themselves on the back. Look at me. Ain’t I a wonderful person. The whole party is evil or useful pawns for the evil

It will serve to distract the public from the way those "justices" are bopping around the planet on holiday on someone else's dime. wink

And here we have the Nutty Professor making yet another political post concerning the ethics of Supreme Court Justices who have accepted gifts of travel and vacation accommodations. This is the same Liberal Left crybaby who frequently whines about how political Threads and Posts drive people away, and are the death of this forum.

Does anyone here think that the Nutty Professor will ever mention the $3.7 million that Anti-gun Liberal Left Justice Sonia Sotomoyer has made from her memoir and children's book sales? And will he complain that she has directed her staff to strong-arm schools and libraries where she has speaking engagements to pre-purchase large numbers of those books? This is the same Liberal Left Justice who perjured herself during her Senate Confirmation Hearings by saying she supports the 2nd Amendment, yet has consistently ruled to infringe upon it.

Anti-gun Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer is expected to introduce legislation to ban Bump Stocks in order to pressure Republicans into caving in to more anti-2nd Amendment crap in an election year. We shooters would be smart to encourage our Senators to make attachments to any such Anti-gun Bill to also close the Southern Border and impose the Death Penalty for drug dealers, since fentanyl, heroin, and other drugs pouring across the open border are now killing over 100,000 Americans every year. Fentanyl alone killed about 75,000 people in the U.S. in 2023. That number is over 200 deaths per day for fentanyl alone, and is far far greater than the number of people killed by bump stocks. But Anti-Gun Democrats would never think of imposing such severe penalties for drug dealers, or securing our borders. This isn't about saving lives. It is about the relentless attempts by Democrats to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment Rights of law abiding citizens.

These Anti-gun Democrats have the full support of a number of gun owners, some right here. That's a shame, and it is beyond stupid. But there is an enemy within our ranks, and that's a fact.

The"Big Tent" of Gun owners is a Big Fraud... to give cover to fools who vote for Anti-gunners.

The case should have been about unelected bureaucrats making laws, as others here have pointed out

It doesn't matter which President "forced them to do it." What matters is SCOTUS correctly ruled that unelected, political hacks and federal employees do not make or pass laws.
