Biden made a recent statement to donors ..........."It's time to put Trump in a bullseye". How unfortunate.
Even though he most likely meant that in another context it was a piss poor choice of words during a POTUS campaign as divided as this one is.
I praise God today for protecting DJT's life. America doesn't need a martyr, we need a leader. God help us, we sure don't have one in the Oval Office now. November's comin' .......

Whoever was responsible for securing and clearing that rooftop should be fired and then brought to face charges of dereliction of duty. Nobody on the major news outlets talking about it.
JR I dont disagree. From what i understand currently, the roof the shooter was on was slightly higher than where the counter snipers were set up. I'm really not looking forward to the blowback from this If true, the blowback should be hurricaine proportions. Some of the news outlets showed one of those earth maps of the area. The roof top appeared close, and there was line of sight to dispatch the criminal.

Bill Barr was spot on. The current president, among many other followers, has called President Trump an existential threat to our democracy.

The Secret Service, FBI, DHS, and local police have some explaining to do. Beginning with, why were Mr. Trump and Mr. Kennedy denied, despite repeated requests, enhanced, or, in the case of Mr. Kennedy, any, Secret Service details?
This is just a further failing of the Joe Biden administration.

He, Trump, just turned his head half a second before the bullet arrived. Looked to his right, which moved his head about an inch or inch and a half, which resulted in the bullet just missing a fatal head shot. One person behind him was not so lucky as he threw his body over his family to shield them. Gave his life for theirs and I am certain he did it gratefully for the chance. Half a second or a single inch would have changed everything. And the main street media secretly would rather have the other story.
Security was criminally bad. Was it a sense of false security because Trump fans tend to be very law abiding? Did they not have a good security plan for this open location? Is this the B team, who were just gong through the motions? Allowing anyone to climb up on a roof, in plain view, under 150 yards, with a rifle just blows my mind.
We truly need a complete shakeup of the government. I do not know if we are going to get it but if we do not our future is bleak. Hope everyone here stays safe and takes care of his family as best he can. I do not see a civil war but I do fear rising levels of crime with a government unwilling and unable to do anything about it.

Is this the B team, who were just gong through the motions? My wife made a mention of how bumbling the female agents appeared as they "secured" the area around the vehicle they put Trump in. Sky News (Australia) described them as the "fumbling fumbelina's". During my basic combat training 56 years ago rule one was to never let the enemy have the high ground and I've never forgotten it. The question is whether the failure to secure the roof top was incompetence or intentional disregard for Trump's security. Regardless, heads should roll but since this is government we know they won't.
