Lefever 16ga F grade, early pivot lever gun, this is a project gun. It was at one time broken in half through the wrist. So a replacement take off original wood set was sourced and fit. It fits as well as can be expected, but not perfect, but more than passable. At some time someone sleeved the original Damascus to steel, you can see the parting line just ahead of the barrel engraving. Mechanically it all functions, one of the trigger blades is missing, this is a double trigger gun, not a single. The trigger bow was also broken and repaired poorly so that will need to be addressed. Overall a decent little project gun that could be a nice shooter for someone. And seeing one of these in any condition in 16ga is very rare.
