Like any old gun, the little details, intentional or accidental, always make for interesting speculations that can never be completely resolved. Der Ami Sidelock Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 4,573 Likes: 236 East Alabama	"30 Belgian Mauser" would be the same as 7.65x54 Argentine Mauser and the bore (not groove or bullet) diameter should be closer to 7.7mm than 7.4mm. A chamber cast would sort that also.
