The little “nub” ( size of a pin head) has broken off the extractor pivot on the forend and a tiny nub on the receiver where the extractor pivot “ engages. ( 1880 Lindner 10 ga hammer gun)
Can anyone point me in the direction of a gunsmith that could attend to these two areas via a tiny bit of TIG welding and dressing to make the extractor whole and function again.
I, of course would desire to have the repair look as cohesive and original as possible.
This is a gun I regularly use for duck hunting- not a safe queen, although it is in extremely good condition.
A smith that has knowledge and experience with quality doubles would be a requirement.
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards,
