OP Texasbadger Boxlock Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 21 Likes: 1	Picked this one up at local gun estate, looked like an early cape gun, but double rifle, and this one is massive. 38.5 inch barrels, over 60 caliber with circular rifling. Metal underneath wood is completely unmarked. Has “Reichenbach” one one side plate. Single trigger fires hammers separately or both at once. Any ideas on maker? He has just done a piece on the Swiss 1841 Sharpshooters Rifle, which looks to be of similar vintage, and was made by various makers on a Cantonal basis. He might recognise the makers name or style.
