I have reached that time of life. My Daniel Fraser sidelock 12g is for sale. Dickson and McNaughton estimate that it was made in 1905. The good bit: I have owned it for 50 years, my Grandfather before that for 20 years. I know its history for perhaps 20 years before that. The bad bit: it was re-sleeved in about 1965, re-proof to 3 ton per square inch and changed to 2.75" chamber from 2.5" it was originally 30" barrels, at re-sleeving it was changed to 28". It is complete with original case, all tools etc. The other bad bit - it is in Australia. I am at Robertkidd5@bigpond.com for any pictures etc.
