Buddy is looking to restore his dad's 20 ga. M12 by replacing barrel that has a Polychoke on it. His dad regretted adding the Polychoke. If anyone knows of availability of a barrel, lemme know by PM. I understand that the barrel assembly has the mag tube and slide integral. He may have to buy a complete gun, but lurking out there is a gun with a broken stock, etc. Also, who are the M12 specialists? Thanks. Gil

Is the polychoke soldered on? If so, was the barrel cut thus eliminating the original factory choke? If not, would it be possible to remove the polychoke and then perhaps re-blue the barrel? I am just curious. But it just seems that you could remove the polychoke, presumably by heating the whole assembly. Ah, are you beginning to realize why I am NOT a gunsmith?!?!
