I am trying to find info/help on a Syracuse arms side by side. I inherited the gun from my father. The gun was originally my grandfather's. I never met my grandfather. The gun has been in pieces as long as I've been alive, I'm 53. My understanding is the gun may not hold great value but it does to me. I'd love to be able to restore the gun to usable condition if possible. Please only constructive replies. I'm not in a hurry to complete this, but I'd very much like to complete it. It is a double hammer gun that is missing a hammer, I'm not sure what else it's missing. I'm working on uploading pictures, stay tuned. Thanks!

Syracuse Arms hammer guns are not very common, but were on the low cost of their offerings. All of the hammer guns I have seen had Tripplett marked fluid steel barrels and were unengraved. Good luck on your parts search.

William are you still looking for a source on parts? If so, you might try and get a ph. number for Rob Womack in Milton Fla. He may have some parts. Unfortunately, I don't have a number for him...maybe there is someone who does? Best of luck!

You might try looking on gunbroker for that model, maybe you can buy one and salvage parts from it. Or tell people that it was your grandfather’s gun.
