A friend has a 28 gauge single shot Savage Model 220-OA. He needs a barrel and foraem with forearm iron. Any suggestions? Thanks- in advance- RWTF

He doesn't have a gun Fox. He has a useless receiver and buttstock. It is hard enough to find a 28ga single Savage. A barrel and forend is just an impossible dream. JMHO...Geo

Thanks, George. You confirmed what I thought as well. I wonder, FWIW-- if Ivor Johnson or other gun makers of that era offered a 28 gauge in their single shot line up?? Foxy

There is a 28 gauge Barrel for that gun on Numrich gun parts as well as a complete forend assembly. Pete

Thanks- when I looked, it was marked "Out of Stock"-- when I told my friend how much 28 gauge shells cost today, he decided to use the stock and receiver for a paperweight- or boat anchor-- RWTF
