A friend gave me this gun, a Pride of Spain (POS is stamped on it) that came with a few pieces of the hardwood buttsock - not hard enough I guess. It pretty much splintered away at the locks with significant pieces missing, enough missing that a glue job would be pointless and it would be nice to find a replacement stock to put it back to use. It has short barrels 20.25" and would be fine gun for cowboy action shooting or a keep 'em off the porch use. Does anybody know a source for a stock? Thanks for replies!

Thanks for the reply!
I did a search for Pride of Spain before I entered my thread and did see the Numrich listing for parts. I guess I could call them in the am but didn't see the stock listed so guess they don't have it. They typically will list stuff they don't have just to keep you excited so I posted here. In my search I did find a complete gun that sold for $299 plus shipping but didn't see the Poulin auction listing. Those guys are about close to me and I've often thought about making a drive there to attend one of their auctions but I wouldn't want to buy two complete guns! Just want to see if I can get this one going.

Gazz:

My brother had one of the POS shotguns a number of years ago. Based upon his experience with it, you’ll be using a lot of parts from on gun to keep the other running. POS was a pretty accurate description of the quality.

Glue up the fragmented old stock and build up missing areas with auto Bondi to make a pattern for duplicator?
