Buck,

Glad it has reached you safely, enjoy!

Have you shot it yet, and how close to the target do you need to be to lose the bullet holes from the 8mm and .30-30 barrels in the 16 bore hole?

Keep Well

An image with >>white light<< like sunlight on the lower tube will show that there are stamps under the >>30.30 W<<. You can see the worn >>m/m<< stamp between the ...0 W... Too, you could use a glass & examine it closely. What I was suppose is that an American gunsmith opened an 8,15X46R chamber to 30-30 dims. I have a Remo tip-up stalker that has 8,15X46 1/2R rifling but a 30-30 Chamber. I have found it best to >>fire form<< the cases & use 8,15 bullets.

Too, there's an odd >>Crown over N<< stamp on the water table as if it passed thru the Z-M proof facility. Not sure exactly why it is there but there's a story associated with it. I do wish we could view the original proof stamps under the >>30.30 W<<.

I know him not, but I will take you word for it Argo44..... I think I would rather be >>Columbo<< or even better >>Inspector Jacques Clouseau<<.....
