I truly appreciate the effort & will gladly make it worth your while.

I reside in North Alabama, just South of the Tennessee River, South of Huntsville.

You must have some good quail and duck hunting. What gun do you shoot?

Ah, we use to have Quail & Ducks, but now we have a few Hooded Mergansers along with Resident Canadians, Whoopers and a smattering of Steak on a Stick Sandhills. It has to be cold for the Ducks to show & rumour is the temperature will still be in the 50s - 60s F thru the Holidays into next year. So coupled with the fact that we are quite dry, the Duck outlook is dismal. But these days I do the bulk of my wingshooting in Kansas. My chosen dispatch smokepole for the heavy lifting is a 1960s BüHag with a stout Swan's Neck. Built like a Tank and enough choke that you could hone 1/2 of it away & it still would be Full & Full. I will on occasion pull out a French badged Merkel stacked gun for more open chokes.

Here is a typical battery that I ferry with me in the States, Less the Emil Bernard sidelock with Boehler Eclair tubes and Zabala Hermanos locks. As I said the BüHag with the Swan's neck on the right does all the heavy lifting. The French badged Merkel on the the left is next. The A&D Body Action by Boronvik during the British Occupation chambered in 65mm is last...

I do fancy a Straight-Hand Stock.......
