I had an Omnium 20 ga. which is the entry level gun but (like a 686 series Berettas), I suspect the Aurum has the same guts with better embellishment. They are a very nicely fitted and finished Italian production gun, I shot targets with my 20 with 28" barrels without fatigue but it is really stocked as more of a field gun. I don't really care what anything is called anymore, if it works for my purpose fine. If I remember correctly it did weigh under 7# and handled well.
