I have shot doves for 51 years with many different guns. My 20 ga. Silver Pigeon II Sporting is the sweetest dove gun I have ever used. How I love taking those high incomers with it! It is so much fun to be first man on the field to limit out and go the the shade and the cool refreshments, when you're the only gun on the field not shooting 1 1/8 oz. loads. I only use 7/8 oz. for doves and quail.
I still shoot my S x Ss a lot, but switching back and forth from them to the SP II has never been a problem for me.
