Was out shooting my favorite go-to five stand gun today, a 1886 Charles Lancaster best sidelock ejector single trigger.

Unfortunately, I broke an ejector! I took the forend apart and the part that broke appears to be a more complicated version of a classic sidelock mainspring. Thankfully, both pieces are still in the forend and the other one (not broken) is also a good example for duplication.

Questions:

1. Is there anyone in the USA that is qualified to do this work that meets the terms "good and fast". (cheap is not as important as good+fast)

2. Do I need to send the gun smith the whole gun or is the forend sufficient?

Thanks for any referrals you can provide.

P.S.- If you haven't owned or shot a Lancaster sidelock they are about the nicest gun I've ever owned. Far and away superior to my Boss and Purdey and for a London gun, they can be had for a very reasonable price.
