OP xausa Sidelock Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 641 Likes: 2 Puryear, TN	My German gunsmith is refinishing a Mauser Model B in 9.3X62 for me and would like to know what kind of recoil pad I want to replace the sadly deteriorated one now on the rifle. My inclination is toward a Silver's pad, but I wonder what kind of pad Mauser originally supplied. The catalog I have mentions a rubber pad, but does not specify color.
