Brent, two things. First of all the title of your post couldn't be more correct, (The only rifle I hunted with for 12 years is my Shiloh Sharps in 45-90 and it's never seen smokeless powder or jacketed bullets. Killed everything I shot at). Secondly, although I do have a Ballard 1 1/2 Hunters Rifle YOU have the one model I most lust for. Man I love those Pacific #5's. The perfect Ballard in my opinion. Lastly, congratulations on a great hunt and thanks for posting about it!!
