Obama just had a news conference announcing his intentions to roll out new gun laws without Congressional consent over the next few days. Universal Background Checks will absolutely affect you and your right to transfer ownership of your Double Guns, even to your own children.

Before that happens, be sure to contact your elected representatives to let them know how you feel about this. Here is how you can get contact info for your Congressman and Senators if you don't already know:

We do not need a President who does unconstitutional end runs around Congress and the Constitution. We do not need any more laws restricting the rights of law abiding gun owners that would have done nothing to prevent recent gun violence or terrorist acts. Thank you.Obama is telling them, and the nation, that even gun owners want these new restrictions on our Rights. It is up to you to make sure they know how you really feel.

I have tried along with you and others to bring the dangers of this administration to everyone's attention only to be derided by the trolls that are allowed to infest this forum and have every attempt made to post what was actually going on deleted by them to circumvent the truth. Frankly I've given up in disgust.
Most of the membership here is complacent believing Obama and others of his socialist ilk are only after assault rifles, black guns , high capacity magazines etc.
GUESS WHAT Complacent ones: He want's your shotguns along with everything else to be traceable.
WHY? Because the goal all along is to disarm all responsible Americans in order to convert the United States to a socialist Country and untraceable firearms can't be confiscated.
An armed citizenry would be in the position to revolt and prevent this conversion. One of the first steps the NAZIs took before the holocaust was to disarm the Jewish Citizenry. One of the first steps Castro took after ousting the Batista regime and instituting Communism in Cuba was to make the private ownership of firearms illegal.
So all you members here that choose to remain silent go crawl back into your "safe places" and enjoy the firearms you currently own for as long as you're allowed to own them. I'll go back to remaining silent now as I'm fairly certain what is going to happen if this isn't vigorously repelled.
