Look at it this way. You could have spent a thousand dollars more and might have been able to find a nice shape British boxlock gun that would require CIP shells. You could have spent $500.00 more and bought a L.C. Smith and waited for the cracks to start and then find out how much fun they are to restock. You could have spent three times the money and found a Parker and joined that group and worried about originality in all things Parker. Might have found a Fox for more money, but if a late model it would not have the fit and finish of what you have. In short you have bought the last solid shooter that was made in America as a major makers main gun.
