I like the compactness, lightweight and cost of the Burris FFIII. The Burris 336 mount is tailor made for the sight and is lower profile than the Weaver/Picatinny base mount. Sumtoy Chokes makes a custom mount for the FF series that is a better base than the Burris. It is contoured to fit the shotgun. One of the 20's has the protective cover on the FFIII. There are more expensive and less expensive systems but I find the Burris to be a good value with excellent customer service. Gil

Here's an unanodized prototype of Sumtoy's base mount for the Burris. They are sold anodized in black. It sits atop my Remington Spartan SPR100 .410. A Docter red dot is on the gun now. Docter of Germany invented the style of red dot that has been copied by others including Burris. Or at least they appear to be copies.
