I honestly have not shot at game with a .410 shotgun since I was a kid. A few weeks ago I agreed to shoot release birds with a couple of friends at Lenox River Plantation and all three of us would shoot the little guns. I had my doubts, but we shot a wagon-load yesterday afternoon and I was surprised at how effective the .410s were on the easy shots and tender birds we were after.
